31/10/2002 - More XML - No
Toasters!
I had an email yesterday from Jack Ratcliff
reminding me that there are some undocumented
URL commands when using ?ReadViewEntries, that
I hadn't mentioned in my XML
- Domino Basics article.
I have therefore written a follow up ingeniously
entitled XML - Domino Basics
Part 2 which covers these and other Domino
XML possibilities. These commands are very useful
and are used by both the Domino View Applet
and also my own DXFramework View Component that
can be seen in my Contact
Manager Demo.
 |
Jacks email reminded me of a discussion
we had a while ago regarding our work
with xml views and transforming them using
Javascript and XSLT.
Jack has been experimenting with Domino
XML views and XSLT and has come up with
some impressive results. You can see a
live
demo of this here , and you can also
download the code he developed from openntf.org
here.
|
|
For those that do not know XSLT stands
for Extensible Stylesheet Language for
Transformations and I shall be covering
this soon. It is an official recommendation
of the World
Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and provides
a flexible, powerful language for transforming
XML documents into something else (documents/files
- not toasters!).

30/10/2002 - Top of the World!
Secondly, I had a bit of a get together yesterday
with some developer friends who want to lend
me a hand with this project and we had a very
constructive discussion. Hopefully from tommorrow
you will start to see the fruits of that discussion.
I'm also getting offers of help from developers
around the world so going to link up with those
people to.
It seems my experience of the sandbox at Lotus
Developer Domain is shared by a lot of people.
If the idea is popular, may start my own sandbox
- if anyone has any content for a possible sandbox
on this site just send it to me.
I'm hoping to extend the comments functionality
very soon so you can see your comments and allow
others to respond. I'm thinking of writing a
Domino Comments System which would allow you
to use it from your own web sites (no matter
what platform they are hosted from) - ive got
some thoughts about this - if anyone else has
any particular requirements/ideas - let me know.
I read an interesting
article yesterday discussing the take up
of J2EE and .NET technologies. It comments that
takeup of J2EE is slow because of its complexity,
whilst people are wary of .NET because of Microsofts
resistance to open standards and the limitations
of the Visual Studio .NET development tools.
Some are even using mixed environments - which
is great for using the best tool for the job,
but must cost a fortune in skills resourcing.
29/10/2002 - Domino Hosting
|
If you ever wanted to host you own Domino
Databases on the Web - either for testing,
commercial or hobby reasons then I would
recommend you look up dominodeveloper.net.
|
|
The reason why I'm mentioning this today is
that I've been having problems with my Contact
Manager Demo since it was updated to Domino
6 - basically the servlet that retrieves the
xml data was giving errors some 50% of the time.
I had put it down to network traffic - afterall
I only pay $10 a month and I believe in the
statement "you gets what you pays for!".
However yesterday I thought I would raise a
support issue and as per the service I have
received in the past they sorted the issue within
what must have been an hour - so i'm impressed!
- Check out their site, you will see a whole
host of services for domino plus you can also
do php,mysql,servlets,jsp etc.
I was going to do another DHTML article for
today on how I produce alternating colours on
my web views. However I found this
example in the Sandbox - demonstrates it
well so saves me some time!
I noticed yesterday that on my links
page I had never included the Lotus Domino
Developer site - silly me. Ive now put that
right. Although for some reason I submitted
my DHTML examples
for tabbed tables and menus to the sandbox a
few weeks ago and ive not even got a 'no thankyou'
let alone a listing. Maybe they trying to tell
me something about my development ability!
28/10/2002 - One step at a
time?
Ive always been a great believer in the old
IBM saying "Start Small, Grow Big",
and thats how really I want this site to develop.
I also really believe in what i'm trying to
achieve (from this site) and if I get the message
right then I know I will. Thats probably the
hardest bit of all for this site - getting the
message right.
A lot of the work on this site so far has been
to bring people up to speed on what can be done
using Domino and to maybe show that it can be
put to better use than maybe it has been done
to date.
At the end of the day whilst I do not believe
Lotus/IBM has done the product justice over
the years marketing wise, it is up to the developers
to provide killer applications which will sell
the product. Do these exist?
Anyway the point im trying to make today -
we had a small discussion
at Codestore.org last week about projectdx
and other things and this morning I know I have
to develop a "roadmap" to show you
people where this is all going and what 'deliverables'
(and who said I could never get a marketing
job!) there will be and when. A comment was
made that my scope is very 'broad' and this
is very true - so I aim to break it into parts
to help clarity and also so we can get more
people involved - after all I cannot achieve
all this on my own.
The actual DXFramework architecture has actually
been working and running very special web 'applications'
for two years now - so I know it works and is
stable and runs rings round traditional domino
web applications. I essentially will be giving
away a lot of my work soon so some help from
others would be appreciated to make it worthwhile.
So to start with (I am going to start testing/evaluation
registration this week anyway) I would really
appreciate:
>Ideas/requirements for what you would like
to get out of this site/ the Projectdx software.
>People who would be prepared to write articles
for this site.
>People with good Domino/Web/Java skills
who would like to participate in this project.
Send your details either via the comments link
or by email to steve.castledine@projectdx.org.
I note that over two hundred people have downloaded
each of my sample databases - are these useful?
Keep checking back to this site - roadmap,
javascript forum, evaluation registration, articles
and demos coming up this week.
25/10/2002 - New Site Feature
- Comments
I have finally got round to adding real Domino
functionality to this site - a Comment/Question
facility! Each page will have an 'Add Comment'
link on the top left side. Again a bit 'Noddy'
(see below) but it works!
I have also done two articles in one - Java
Servlets - Producing an XML Document. I
hope you find this both interesting and informative.
I seem to be very short on items promised this
week - story of my life! Its been a very busy
one so bear with me. Next week I really need
to get the Javascript forum going and get the
DXFramework testing registration ready.
Any suggestions, requests etc gratefully received
via the add comment link. I shall be publishing
these as well soon. But as always I will probably
do an article on how!
24/10/2002 - A bit Noddy
 |
After yesterdays avalanche I thought
I would keep things slightly calmer today.
To start with a report of my experience
with Microsoft XP (Right). I got to say
that after I got used to the 'Noddy' (Left)
look and feel I'm very impressed. Also
impressed with all the added features
to wipe out even more third party software
companies!
|
|
My only gripe was the constant disk writing
on my Sony Laptop - with 128meg Ram - even without
Domino etc running. After a few weeks of this
and getting a bit fed up I did some messing
around in the usual incompetent manner of a
Software Developer.
I discovered that all the disk writing was
being caused by one process: findfast.exe -
since stopping that running my Laptop has ran
like a dream - bizarre. I noticed that if left
this process it just swallows up memory like
theres no tommorrow.
After mentioning ServletMaid yesterday I have
myself been through it today and so far it works
(although the test Servlet that comes with it
didint seem to) - but not convinced about it
yet - maybe I will change my mind. I will take
another look later and will put together a document
on it or come up with an alternative.
This page is getting far toooo big! - I will
have to just show content on a daily basis or
something instead of a whole month. Even DreamWeaver
runs slow with it!
23/10/2002 - Avalanche!
|
As promised I have been hard at work
and have plenty of extra stuff for you
today.
To start with a further download
and article in
what I shall have to call my DHTML series
for Domino. I have taken the previous
demos of the menu system and tabbed tables
and merged them together. I have then
added a new feature which enables you
to print your tabbed tables on one page.
One thing I would point out, is that
the majority of my projects are generally
around IE5/6. Therefore my demos usually
only work on these platforms. However,
this is fairly ignorant of those people
using NN6/mozilla browsers and so I will
be updating the demos shortly to work
on these.
|
|
As mentioned yesterday, here is a link
to 'ServletMaid' a notes database to help
you with developing and deploying servlets on
Domino. This is written by Ian Sherwood of openntf.org
- which if you are a serious Domino Enthusiast
I would go and look at their site and what they
are doing. I shall be writing an article on
it within a few days to explain how it can fit
into the Servlet series on this site.
 |
Today i'm going to start off a new
series - XML. The reason being that
I want to lay the foundations for future
articles that cross - like Servlets that
generate xml etc. My aim is to slowly
get deeper and deeper into using todays
web technologies with Domino, but without
losing you on the way!
|
22/10/2002 - Nothing!
Absolutely jot all! Thats how much I've got
for you today!
Seriously, had a very busy few days and customers
come first! - But check back tommorrow and I
should have an avalanche of stuff for you.
Although not been completely idle, been trying
to get a notes database for you that will enable
you to develop servlets within notes - hopefully
will get it working soon.
21/10/2002 - This week
A new week, lots to do!
My football team lost at the weekend and also
went into administration so not the best weekend
I could have had! I hope yours was better!
Ok, coming up this week: I will be launching
a Javascript for Domino (only) help forum. This
will give you the chance to share your problems
with the gurus out there, plus I promise to
go through it at least once a day and help out
the best I can. I will also be adding the ability
for you to send your comments/ask questions
etc.
On the articles front I shall be doing more
work on the servlets series and hopefully build
up to developing a search servlet that will
send results back in xml. I hope to find time
to bring you a new xml series - on the same
lines as before from the basics up (and domino
related). There will also be other javascript
articles and hopefully further demos.
On the DXFramework front, I will also be opening
up registration for a test program - so check
back for details. I have finally got hold of
another web based domino server so I hope to
demonstrate the attachment manager to you very
soon. I may also demonstrate having a domino
system where the application logic is on one
server and the actual data is on another many
thousands of miles away and see what performance
we can get.
18/10/2002 - Not on a school
day!
First of all having a bit of a breather today,
partly due to work load but mainly down to the
deadly 'drinking on a school day' hangover.
Many thanks to Evelyn and Gareth for keeping
going to 5am - remind me to stay clear of you
guys in the week in future.
So instead I will give you my 'Domino News
Round'!
IBM has sent this
link which is a list of Domino 6 resources.
Puakma has
a new code release - which I have been testing
and is looking impressive stuff. Notesntf.org
have now released version 1 of their enhanced
Domino 6 mail template. Jagre.com have released
a freebie
Notes Designer addon that has features such
as LotusScript object browser and displaying
hide when information.
I've not done that bad this week - I have delivered
pretty much what I promised - probably a couple
of servlet articles short of what I intended
- but coming very soon - Have a good weekend!
17/10/2002 - DHTML Tabbed
Tables
First of all, had a bit of a tidy up of the
site today, hope you approve. I suppose the
biggest change is trying to better seperate
the Domino technical content from the DXFramework
content.
I think thats been one of the biggest 'constructive'
criticisms of the site - whats the drive - technical
or DX - I would always say both - but its always
'good to listen' hence the re-organisation!
Anyway on with todays article - DHTML
Tabbed Tables - hope you find it of use
- its put together in the same style as the
previous DHTML Menus
articles.

You can find live demos of the tabbed
tables working here, and also the dhtml
menus here.
16/10/2002 - Articles, Articles,
Articles!
Plenty of reading today, three new articles
in my Domino Servlets series: Domino Servlets
- An Overview, Getting
Started, A Simple Servlet.
These articles and others are also listed on
the sites articles page.
On another subject - XML - I would also recommend
you read this article by Mike Golding of notestips.com
on Client
Side XML Processing in Internet Explorer.
I will myself be posting XML for Domino articles
in the near future.
I had promised the delivery of a browser tabbed
table demo today - will be working hard to make
sure I deliver it tommorrow.
15/10/2002 - International
Java Servlet Day!
|

|
Well not really - but it
is on this site.
|
Today I will start a series on developing Java
Servlets for Domino. I will start from the very
beginning (ie setting the server up and hello
world type servlets) and work up to more complex
servlet based systems.
To get started I have added articles on setting
up your Domino Server for servlets and on
the servlet.properties
file. These articles contain a test servlet
and a sample servlet.properties file.
Coming up will be an overview on servlets and
how I built the test servlet.
15/10/2002 - Contact Manager
Demo Now Running on Domino 6!

So far so good - No apparent problems with
the Framework. Although the one really irritating
change from version 5 to 6 is the xml output
from views etc. The xml attributes have changed
from uppercase to lowercase - does anyone know
why? It means I have to have a different api
build between versions as xml is case sensitive.
PITA!
I shall be loading a few servlet articles
later on - bear with me!
14/10/2002 - Image isn't everything
- is it?
Who doesnt believe in image - IBM or Microsoft?
It is clear to me that image is very important
to Microsoft - hence the huge marketing spend.
To me image has never been quite so important
to IBM/Lotus hence the poor marketing of Domino
(in my country at least). To me heres further
evidence of this - Al
Zollar confirming image isn't everything.
Please IBM/Lotus - Image is important - Domino
is a great product but with a huge identity
crisis image wise! It smells of complacency
that could cost dearly.
14/10/2002 - Screenshots
This new article shows
screenshots of the contact document template
for the contact within the Contact
manager demo.
I'm hoping to provide a firm date very soon
for the release of the Notes Version of the
Framework. Ultimately the Notes Version will
be replaced by a full independent client. The
plan then is to allow you to choose data source
- so as well as Notes you could use Oracle or
mySql as a data source for your system.
14/10/2002 - Welcome to a
new week!
We have had two weeks of the site now. Eight
articles, Two Demos, hundreds of emails, not
bad going so far. Cheers for all the thankyou
emails! - I'm sure so far I have been good and
answered all.
Today we have an article
on the CSS used within the DHTML menu demo.
Whilst we are on the subject of CSS, I use the
excellent TopStyle Pro (now in release 3) for
all my stylesheet editing/creation needs. You
can find this at http://www.bradsoft.com.
I'm hoping to start putting some articles up
on java servlets later today together with how
to extend the dhtml menu demo.
I really must find the time soon to build a
content manager for this site - using the framework
of course! (which obviously will be released
open source style) - as whilst i'm ok with my
trusty Dreamweaver I can see things getting
very disorganised soon. So I think next weekend
it will be the girlfriend or a brand spanking
new domino content manager - ok maybe the content
manager may have to wait a bit (If I want to
see my thirtieth birthday next month - yes okay
I will be in shock for quite a few months after
for reaching a milestone age).
The last thing I should point out - thanks
to Gareth Poulter for pointing out my many spelling
mistakes etc and also to Jon Horsman for my
poor grammer! - I do tend to type these articles/blogs
very quickly - usually late at nite after a
few cans of coke - so my mind not in its best
form to notice such things.
11/10/2002 - Can this be done?
Coming to a browser near
you soon...

11/10/2002 - Denial is not
a river in Egypt!
I like the above statement - I noticed it on
a blog site the other day. Although completely
unrelated to the contents of todays update!
I have added an article on the HTML used in
the DHTML menus database - you will find a link
to this below.
I seem to be running behind with the search
servlet that delivers results in xml -I expect
this will now not appear until the end of next
week. Instead I shall be looking at providing
you with further information on the dhtml menus
- plus how we can get them to change when users
go into 'edit' mode etc.
In addition, before I give you the xml servlet
I will do a series on servlet development for
Domino. I also aim to have a sample database
on tabbed tables over the web - as per what
you can find in the contact
manager demo.
All this within the next seven days - I promise!

10/10/2002 - New Article Added
DHTML Menus - Part 1
10/10/2002 - DHTML Menus
Ok im getting there at last - I can now start
posting some useful stuff for you Domino Web
developers out there. Today a very simple demo
- Domino DHTML Menus. I would be grateful of
any feedback regarding this style of delivering
example databases to you - is it easy to use
in your work - or is it a dogs dinner?
You will find a link to the download database
in the download section.
I will be publishing a few articles regarding
this demo so bear with me and they will appear
over the next 24 hours. Any questions etc -
then the usual address: steve.castledine@projectdx.org.
Feel free to take the database to bits and
use anything you want in your own designs. It
has been setup to be configurable - so you just
drop the bits into your design and fill in the
blanks!

09/10/2002 - Almost There
Tommorrow (Thursday) I promise there will be
more articles and code to download - I will
be finishing them off later. It was going to
be today - but playing football and the pub
quiz seemed to be more important at the time.
But as my legs are hurting from football and
we came last in the pub quiz - I figure I shall
be retiring from both to concentrate on my day
job! (Although did win a gallon of beer for
a bonus question).
Looking at the web logs for the contact
manager demo there seems to be an awful
lot of interest in this development approach
- you will see very shortly how easy it was
to create when you already have the ui components
etc developed in a central store. I would like
to demonstrate the attachment manager - but
it needs a dedicated server for this as it needs
access to the file system on the server.
At the start of this site I did actually say
I never intended on it being a 'blog'. However
I actually enjoy writing it at the moment -
so consider it a temporary blog - maybe when
the project is in full swing I will lose the
time - who knows? - Maybe I could even share
out the responsibility to guest bloggers for
weeks at a time - how about that for an idea?
- If you have something to say mail it to steve.castledine@projectdx.org
- if its publishable - I will!
08/10/2002 - The Direction
Ok now the dust has settled on this site a
bit and i'm into a groove producing articles
etc - a bit of information on the intended direction.
My plans are to very shortly release all the
work I have been doing for the last few years
- as is. This comprises of a set of Notes Templates,
a core of javascript api's, web components and
a few servlets. I will also be releasing a few
demonstration applications to help you see how
things work.
This will then form the first version of a
complete framework for developing web applications
for domino together with providing a very efficient
way of converting old Notes Database systems
for web use. The sites direction will then be
to provide documents, articles on using this
base framework.
The next step will be to create a project section
of the site where you the community can suggest
Project ideas and these projects can then be
managed online from this site. These projects
will be open source and freely distributed.
The forthcoming mail application will be added
to these open source projects.
The only 'catch' in all of the above is that
if any of the applications developed for the
Framework go on to be used in commercial environments
a Licence fee will be required from the receiving
company. I expect this will be in the order
of 490 uk Pounds. Once a server is licenced
that server can run unlimited applications that
have been written for the framework. In my opinion
the web mail system soon to be released is at
least worth that on its own. Otherwise there
will be no fees for any part of the application
that is released - but as mentioned it comes
as is. Support will be added to this site very
shortly.
Features available in the current version of
the framework can be found in the articles section
of this site.
In addition to the above, tools are currently
being created in Java to eventually replace
the Notes Database way of creating applications
- more information on these will be announced
shortly.
Any questions, requests, comments - steve.castledine@projectdx.org
07/10/2002 - A new week
Welcome - This is week two of this site and
ive got to say very surprised and very pleased
with the response so far. I haven't a clue what
is a good first week readership of a site like
this one but in the first week the highest total
unique visitors for one day was 233 whilst the
average was over a hundred a day.
Anyway first things first - took the wimps
way out today and have provided the simpliest
new article today on how to prevent users clicking
buttons etc before a complex page has loaded
you will find this article here.
Couple of links worth mentioning today: Brendon
at puakma.com
has started writing 'blarticles' on his site
- this one is worth a read on selling
software to the corporates - when you are
not IBM or Microsoft! I also had a mail from
Alan Hurt who was telling me about his project
which is entitled Dynamic
Rich Text Editing. Maybe something in his
work that can be merged into the core DX Framework.
Incidently should you be working on a small
project that enhances one part of domino web
development - I would love to hear from you
either to share ideas, code etc - or even to
spawn further development projects for the platform.
There are lots of oppurtunities to take part
very shortly. From tommorrow I shall start to
share these with you.
I must also base some of this site around
the framework - waiting for a dedicated server
to be setup for it. I also will be adding functionality
such as reader feedback etc.
04/10/2002 - Coming soon...
I'm busy working on articles and code examples
for next weeks reading for you. I aim to publish
information on the following. If you have any
particular subjects/problems etc with Domino
Web development send them to me at steve.castledine@projectdx.org
and I will do my best to help you.
> Creating dhtml menus
for domino
> Stopping users pressing
buttons etc before the whole page has loaded
> Servlets that return
search results as xml
04/10/2002 - Battle Lines
being redrawn?
Heres an interesting article discussing how
the email battle between domino and exchange
is winding down and being replaced by the .net
v j2ee strategies.
Link
to article
I'm watching this battle with great interest
as it is important to anyone who currently has
a career in Domino related technolgies. Ive
never been a Microsoft V IBM/Lotus person ive
worked with both technologies and would always
go with best advice for that particular customers
requirements.
However one comment I would make with my research
is that whilst IBM is very 'grey' when it comes
to informing existing Domino customers of whats
going to happen to their 'invested technology'
overall IBM seem to have a clearer picture on
the future. Pretty much all the software which
is involved in their current roadmap exists
and we can see how they will fit together. The
.net strategy seems to me to have a lot of 'ifs'
and 'buts' because some software is not available
yet.
Take the .Net release of Exchange, code-named
Kodiak, this is not likely arrive until 2005
and thats based on current statements - as we
know a lot can change in three years.
My advice (to anyone that wants it!) on a career
level soap,xml,css,javascript are key 'central'
technologies - master these and you have skills
which will feature no matter where the future
takes you. On an organisation level stick with
what you have and dont be taken in by the marketing
machine propaganda - Domino isnt going to disappear
overnight.
This site is dedicted into making sure people
see how Domino can work for them as I dont think
its done very well at the moment. If I can help
educate developers and provide examples of the
possibilites then maybe together with other
similar sites a difference can be made.
03/10/2002 - New Article Added

03/10/2002 - Fishy!
People ask me "Steve whats the fish about
- is that your corporate logo?". The answer
being no! It started about a year ago when i
decided to dig a big hole in the garden and
fill it with water. I then went about putting
orange swimmy things into the water - and ive
been hooked ever since with the things and i
must bore everyone I know to death talking about
them - so the fish thing has stuck with me.
Therefore as graphics are a no no for me it
seemed appropriate to plonk one on this site.
Talking of which - If anyone fancies designing
any graphics for this site - I would be grateful
mine are well - simple! (like my development).
Graphics on a postcard - sorry email to steve.castledine@projectdx.org.
03/10/2002 - Comment for the
day
"I really like the idea that people other
than the system developers can change the html/presentation
content - I do the same.
Obviously it also saves on designer licences
when they are not needed.
HTML editing is now like creating a word document
to many people - so let them - but go near the
design - i think not!
I've got totally non domino developers (just
html and javascipt) developing complex domino
applications for high profile B2B internet projects
- as they need not worry how domino works -
its separated - domino backend from web browser
front end - with an api in the middle - theres
few that can do both to a high standard - so
use the best bits of people (cheaper too)."
reproduced from discussion thread at notesntf.org

here
03/10/2002 - How much Code?
I'm a lazy lazy developer - if ive done it
before why should i do it again?
The contact demo that ive added to the demos
page is simple enough - a single navigator,
a contact document and then note documents for
each contact - in total 2 hours work so far.
The best bit is I had to write no domino functions,
agents etc - The only code I had to do was in
javascript. Now here comes the tough bit the
amount of javascript code I had to write to
acheive this application - got to tell u my
keys were smokin!>
The Navigator:
function createContact(){createDoc("Contact.htm")}
- well got to create it somehow
The Contact Document:
function createNote(){createDoc("Note.htm",theid)}
- Note creation from within a contact (with
its id passed for linking)
The Note Document:
er - well none
Everything else is configuration using the
development tool which I will be making available
as soon as I can (got to smooth out some edges)
02/10/2002 - Site Update
Demo added - Contact Manager
Document added showing top
level architecture of DX Framework
01/10/2002 - Site Update
New article available on
features of the current version of the DX Framework
I have added a links page
to the site
01/10/2002 - On my soapbox!
SOAP/XML/XSLT are key - I havn't had to develop
a desktop notes application for a long time
so these days I only develop a skeleton database
- ie views and forms with just all the fields
in - nothing else. I then access this data (views
and documents) all via xml which is then rendered
at the browser end. - simple and quick - I would
encourage people to really think about this
approach - i'm sure ibm/lotus will not do it
for you.
The payback then is future compatibility -
if your web design stuff is not in the 'data'
database - then if you coded with thought that
data backend could change to something else
- without loss of code. - db2 perhaps or oracle.
A common mistake happening over here at the
minute among some corporates - 'Domino is on
its way out - panic - do we go j2ee or .net'
- i would actually put that firmly at IBM's
door for poor communication of strategy for
existing domino customers (although developers
could help the situation).
If they applied some thought, their current
investment could be used properly (ie domino)
whilst at the same time protecting themselves
against the future - the whole development thing
then becomes a natural progression (as it should)
rather than the panic switch thing which seems
to be going on.
30/09/2002 - Excellent Article
For all you Domino druggies - an article that
speaks volumes. If you want to see where i'm
coming from in terms of pushing domino forward
then read this Nathan Freeman article on openNTF.org.
30/09/2002 - Site put on the
web - Welcome!!
Hello and welcome to ProjectDX - this site
has been in my mind for a long time now - and
I have finally got round to putting it up. I
hope it will help you develop Domino web applications
as much as I plan it to. I do not really intend
on this site becoming a blog as i am not exactly
a gifted creative writer - should you not know
about them www.codestore.org
and www.notestips.com
are where you will find excellent examples of
these (and links to others). I do however plan
to put up as much technical information as possible
with the time I have.
