Beta 4 Released
Beta 4 is now available for download from
the link on the right hand side.
This just has some code improvements to make sure garbage collection works in Domino properly when connections fail - this version has sat very happy doing a lot of work on my server this week without issue.

Beta 3 Released
Beta 3 is now available from the download
link on the right hand column.
This release fixes a bug that crept into Beta 2 where site titles where not being retrieved for RDF feeds (didnt affect RSS/ATOM etc).
There are also more peformance/memory handling improvements.

Beta 2 Released
Beta 2 of the Feedreader software is now
available for download from the link on the right hand column - 82 downloads
were made of Beta 1. Beta 3 will be available shortly.
Beta 2 has the following updates:
1) Feedreader main code updated - performance improvement - catches non-responsive servers without error.
2) Folders added - you can create folders and then drag and drop items into folders for future use etc
3) New Feed items are read in oldest first rather than newest first
4) Unread marks in categorised views have been changed to "Standard - Compute in Hierachy"

Beta 1 is now available for download from

The current release is very basic and does just the minimal. The software is a platform for a lot of things I want to try out this year so will become more feature rich at each release.
Soon you will be able to track discussions, retrieve information from Notes Views, put a version on a server as a central feed retriever for your company.
Any bugs, questions etc post them here as a discussion and I will do my best to help out.

Free Feed Reader Available Soon
This free and open source Feed Reader for IBM Lotus Notes/Domino will be available from Monday 24th January 2004 - GMT.
